About California Montessori Project - Elk Grove

At CMP - Elk Grove, we are committed to ROARing, which guides everything we do: Respect others and your environment, Own your actions, Act safely, Rise to the challenge. We are a public TK-8 charter school located in two locations in Elk Grove and are part of a network of six California Montessori Project schools serving the Greater Sacramento area. Together, we collectively serve over 3,000 students across our campuses.

We provide an authentic Montessori education thoughtfully integrated with California state standards. Our hands-on, child-centered approach takes place in multi-grade classrooms where students thrive with the support of both a lead teacher and an instructional aide. We foster peer collaboration, small group learning, and the development of independence.
