Hello CMP Families,

Earlier this week, the students and staff gathered for our monthly Trait Assembly to kick off January’s Character Trait: Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible.  These are our three main school rules and the students are very familiar with all of them.  With the start of the “new year”, we saw this as an opportunity to refresh our memories of what these traits mean to us.  The Ruby classroom students drew pictures and wrote what Being Responsible means to them.  At the BR site, the  Club M students shared three posters they created.  The posters have images and words of what these character traits mean to them and the ways in which they practice them every day.  Also, Re-Enrollments Packets have been distributed. Please complete the first two pages of the packet and return them to the office by Friday, February 3, 2017. Included in the packet are a welcome letter, a due-date letter, and a 2017/2018 school year calendar. Please keep these papers for future reference.  If your child will be enrolled in 1st thru 3rd grade for the 2017-2018 school year, and you are interested in transferring between the EG and BR sites, please indicate in clear bold writing on the re-enrollment packet.  A separate public lottery just for  those lower elementary students transferring between the two sites will be at 4:00 pm March 6th at the EG site.  Students matriculating to the 4th grade are automatically enrolled at the Bradshaw site. And lastly, please join us on January 25th from 4:00-6:00 at both sites for our Annual Art Walk.  I look forward to seeing you there, and wish you all a beautiful day.

Sincerely,

Ms. Kathleen
