Principal's Message

Dear Elk Grove Families,

Welcome to the 2021-2022 School Year! 

 Let me begin by introducing myself, I am Becky Marsolais, the new principal here at the Elk Grove Campus. I could not be more excited to be joining this community. For the past 11 years I have been part of the CMP community at the Orangevale and Carmichael campuses. Previously serving as a Club M assistant/coordinator, Teaching Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Lead Teacher and Dean of Students. I am looking forward to learning from and supporting the Elk Grove community in the years to come.

Here at the Elk Grove Campus, teachers and parents work closely to provide a wealth of learning opportunities for the children.  The campus climate is one of responsibility and contribution, cooperation and friendship, and excellence in education.  As a charter school, our team of families and school staff are both integral parts of CMP's mission, which requires teamwork to ensure its continuity and continued success.  CMP is the direct result of parents who dreamed of having a choice in public education. 

Last year, the children, families, teachers and staff at CMP-EG demonstrated their flexibility and resilience as we participated in three different learning models (Distance Learning, Hybrid Learning Model, and the Enhanced Hybrid Learning Model) over the course of the school year.  For this upcoming school year, we are excited to be planning for five day a week in-person learning. While there are guidelines still in place, this will be as close to "normal" as we have experienced in a year and a half, and for some students, their first time back in a classroom after a year of Distance Learning.
